Elastic safety tether for improving safety during sailboat racing.
Aluminum double-action safety hook, built-in stress indicator, and stainless steel connectors with express sleeve for improved security offshore, whether racing or cruising. These safety tethers incorporate a lightweight aluminum double-action safety hook, built-in stress indicator, and welded O-ring for improved security offshore, whether racing or cruising. The stress indicator features a bright overload flag that is exposed when the tether is stressed to the point of needing replacement (about 900lb. of force triggers the flag).
The boat-end aluminum safety hook has an easy-to-use double-action gate that automatically locks closed, so it won't accidentally release from the attachment points. Yet, it’s extremely easy to open in one ergonomic movement without pinching your hands. Internal elastic retracts when not under load, staying out of the way. The non-magnetic, stainless-steel snap shackle at the chest releases from the harness under load.

What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn’t the case, let us know and we’ll do our best to work with you to make it right.
Most unopened, unused items are returnable within 30 days. Weight-bearing items like harnesses may be returnable for size-exchange only. See our policy page for details.
Are any purchases final sale?
We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase. Typically these are things like weight-bearing items and custom-order items (cut rope or custom-assembled items).
When will I get my order?
We work hard to ship your order ASAP, typically in 1-3 days for regular items. You should receive an email with further information shortly after that.
Delivery times vary depending on your location, but with multiple locations across the US we usually see shipping times under a week.
Exceptions would be for custom-order items, large orders and also orders of certain items during peak season.
