Petzl ASCENSION Hand Ascender

Petzl® Ascension Handled Rope Clamps, with right and left handed versions, are designed for ascending and occasionally for hauling (progress capture).

• Ergonomically shaped grip, over-molded with rubber for greater friction:
• Broader surface provides greater comfort while pulling on ascender.
• Grip is wider at the bottom providing better comfort for hand during use.
• Index finger indent increased, offering greater efficiency when pulling on ascender.
• Trigger to open/close the cam, now recessed inside the frame to avoid accidentally opening the cam while in use.
• Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot optimizes performance under any conditions (e.g. frozen or dirty ropes).
• Lower holes for connecting a PROGRESS lanyard and installing a FOOTPRO foot loop with a quick link.
• Upper connection hole for creating a pulley/rope clamp combination or for guiding rope.
• For Single Ropes Between 8 and 13 mm in Diameter.
