USB reader to connect to a computer, for easy reading of the NFC chips applied on products.
The application of this chip allows the unique digital identification of the product and offers the following advantages:
- the chip also bears the serial code, which may otherwise become unreadable in certain circumstances
- it enables quick readings of the unique code during all verification, inventory and maintenance steps, omitting the need to manually transcribe serial numbers. This, in addition to speeding up the process, drastically and reduces errors
- it enables the use of PPE Management software that simplifies, expedites and organizes the management, inspection and conservation of your PPE
Kong partners with Exteryo and recommends the adoption of Exteryo Safety PPE management system 4.0. This partnership brings:
- the presence of a pre-installed NFC chip on many Kong PPE items
- the presence of all Kong product inspection information within the software

What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn’t the case, let us know and we’ll do our best to work with you to make it right.
Most unopened, unused items are returnable within 30 days. Weight-bearing items like harnesses may be returnable for size-exchange only. See our policy page for details.
Are any purchases final sale?
We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase. Typically these are things like weight-bearing items and custom-order items (cut rope or custom-assembled items).
When will I get my order?
We work hard to ship your order ASAP, typically in 1-3 days for regular items. You should receive an email with further information shortly after that.
Delivery times vary depending on your location, but with multiple locations across the US we usually see shipping times under a week.
Exceptions would be for custom-order items, large orders and also orders of certain items during peak season.
Where are your products manufactured?
We're proud to source a large number of our products from USA and European manufacturers. Headwall, Misty Mountain, Edelrid, Kong, Stubai, etc). Working with elite manufacturing partners ensures that our products are high quality and a fair value.
How much does shipping cost?
Like most stores, our shipping is calculated based on which items are being sent where.
